    Position Summary

    Responsibilities include providing direct support of AS9100 Quality Management System. Assure the services and product being manufactured meet or exceed expectations.  Drives resolution of complex quality issues using proven statistical methods

     

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Hands on approach with products and process to improve quality and systems.
    • Lead, facilitate or support resolution to complex problems using progressive problem solving techniques and statistical methodology.
    • Collaborate with engineering and R&D departments on launch and improvements to new products and technology.
    • Work closely with IT on design, development and implementation of new systems for management and control of a dynamic manufacturing environment.
    • Daily interaction with operators and supervision to identify and improve product and process quality.
    • Oversight and training of quality related process and systems.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Training Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or commensurate degree with experience).
    • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
    • ASQ Quality Engineering/Auditor Certification
    • AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification

    Knowledge and Skills Requirements The individual must have experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  They must possess good understanding of manufacturing a product, and are equipped with excellent oral and written communication skills.  The candidate must be able to contribute as an individual and work well within an team environment.
