This position provides skilled mechanical and technical support to all areas of the facility and provides direction for machine repair technicians. Conducts, maintains, installs, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment and production machine malfunctions and applies skills in restoring to operation. Must have a thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities and manpower assignments accordingly.
Experience and ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment required. Minimum of two-year technical degree preferred or apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical field.
