    High School diploma required

    Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Manufacturing required or CPIM equivalent



    Production control experience is preferred


    Job Skills:

    Computer proficiency in Office; especially Word & Excel

    Good verbal and written communication skills



    Demonstrated ability to work independently without supervision and apply critical thinking to problem solving

    Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines

    Ability to coordinate and follow up on R & R activity with Manufacturing and Quality; with demonstrated proficiency

    Be attentive to details

    Excellent interpersonal skills



    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Perform one or more of the following major duties:


    Help facilitate management’s needs and priorities




    Control the flow of product to assure that manufacturing has the appropriate balance of components (i.e. equal number of inner and outer rings to make a bearing)


    Advise management of issues that can affect the ability to ship product on time such as scrap and flow issues


    Coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality on R & R and follow up to assure product continues to move through the shop


    Make sure machines are scheduled per bearing orders; assure manufacturing adheres to schedules



    Perform data collection, including reconciliation of tickets, ensuring ticket numbers are correct; perform correct counts through cycle counting


    Reconciliation of lost parts, making sure transactions are keyed correctly and tracking of loss parts


    Expedite product to assure continual flow


    Perform order splitting when required


    Prioritize orders based on needs and urgency


    Troubleshoot and coordinate shop floor issues so that parts are handled in a timely manner


    Utilize MAPICS system for parts transactions


    Perform cycle counts as required
